Has anyone put together
the story of the elephant
chasing the speck-like feather,
with the whats and hows
and of course the Whos
is not a tale that is
somehow new?

In ways resembles
that philosopher of old,
who accused of corrupting children
drank hemlock so bold,
maintaining his innocence

just like that ole elephant,
