After my “Be Kind” post, a couple of fellow bloggers asked me to help with a t-shirt design for a non-profit athletic club they support. This club helps girls to play volleyball that would not otherwise be able to afford it. I was initially surprised by the request, but felt honored to help out with such a noble cause. Although I’ve never been involved with a non-profit athletic club before, I do understand what its like to have someone help you, love you unconditionally, and pour kindness and generosity into your life. It’s humbling to receive such things when you are unable to return the favor. It changes the way you view people and it changes the way you live your life. I can easily say that I am the person I am today because of the selfless love of many. I wouldn’t have made it this far in my life journey if I hadn’t had someone come along beside me to encourage me, believe in me more than I believed in myself, and speak positive, uplifting words into my life. This is what I like to call the Art of Giving and I encourage you to practice this art as well. It is more rewarding than you can imagine and you never know how a simple gesture or act of kindness can impact someone’s life for the good.

Really nice inspiring post. Thanks!
Thank you 🙂
So well put. It is amazing what you can accomplish with a little help, support and encouragement. With your designs we were able to get this project started. Your art, Courtney’s fashion sense and my marketing skills we will actually help a lot of kids. Our jobs are done.
Thank you. Loren
We make a good team!
This is awesome and it couldn’t have been better said. Thanks for sharing!

A really nice post and one to which I can definitely relate. It’s always warming to help others out, and to be helped of course.
Those tops look fab! Job well done!
I probably don’t comment on them as much as I should but I love these little musing, philosophical posts you do, they’re always good reads.
